The women and Family Commission non-political wing of Jamaat e Islami is determined to struggle for the rights and status of women in Pakistani society, given by Allah and His Prophet

To struggle for Women’s honor, stability of role in the family, and restoration of position of girl child in the society*

Making acquisition of right of women by Islam~ (i-e inheritance, ownership of property, Dowry etc and financial stability and independence etc

MISSION

Women and Family Commission aims to strive and provide thought leadership for solutions under the sociocultural framework of Pakistani society, to the various problems faced by women in Pakistan, protecting their rights given by Islam, ending their exploitation from un-Islamic practices under traditional setup, and strengthening the family.

Our mission is to dismantle all forms of prejudice and discrimination, paving the way for the holistic welfare and advancement of women across the nation. Through advocacy, education, and policy reform, we aim to create a society where every woman can thrive and contribute to her fullest potential, free from any barriers or biases. PRESIDENT MESSAGE

Dr. Rukhsana Jabeen

President Women and Family Commission A doctor by profession, writer, orator, poetess, and Islamic scholar. Working in the field for 35 years for religious awareness in women. Writer of 15 books and multiple articles. She has been President of Jamat-e-Islami Women Punjab for 4 years and secretary general of Jamat-e-Islami Women Pakistan for 6 years. Member of Pakistan Women Islamic Medical Association (PIMA). Represented Pakistan in multiple international conferences including CSW63.
